Teosyal® RHA 3

General Information

TEOSYAL® RHA 3 is a sterile, injectable hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler manufactured by TEOXANE Laboratories in Switzerland. It is specifically designed to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, restore facial volume and enhance lip fullness while maintaining natural facial expressions.

The formulation contains 23 mg/mL of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, developed using Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA) technology. This technology is designed to preserve the natural properties of hyaluronic acid, allowing the gel to adapt to facial movements and expressions.

The product also contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride (3 mg/mL), a local anaesthetic that helps reduce discomfort during treatment.

TEOSYAL® RHA 3 is particularly suitable for deeper facial wrinkles and folds, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It can also be used to enhance lip volume and definition, providing smoother and natural-looking results.

Indications for TEOSYAL® RHA 3

TEOSYAL® RHA 3 is designed to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and restore volume. Its aesthetic applications include:

Contraindications and Precautions

TEOSYAL® RHA 3 should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics.

Treatment should be avoided in cases of active skin infections or inflammation, severe allergies, autoimmune diseases, bleeding disorders or a history of keloid scarring. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding and in individuals under 18 years of age should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable medical guidance.

A medical assessment is required before treatment. The product must never be injected into blood vessels and should only be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals.

Potential Side Effects

Temporary reactions may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, itching, pain and small lumps around the injection site.

Less common complications include infection, skin discolouration, persistent inflammation, nodules and hypersensitivity reactions.

Rare but serious complications include vascular occlusion, tissue necrosis and visual disturbances. Severe pain, unusual skin colour changes or vision problems following treatment require immediate medical attention.
