Teosyal® RHA 4

General Information

TEOSYAL® RHA 4 is a sterile, injectable hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler manufactured by TEOXANE Laboratories in Switzerland. It is specifically designed to correct deep facial wrinkles and folds, restore lost facial volume and improve facial contours while maintaining natural-looking results.

The formulation contains 23 mg/mL of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, developed using Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA) technology. This technology is designed to preserve the natural properties of hyaluronic acid, allowing the gel to adapt to facial movements and expressions.

The product also contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic that helps reduce discomfort during treatment.

TEOSYAL® RHA 4 is particularly suitable for areas requiring deeper structural support and volume restoration, including the cheeks, temples, chin and jawline.

Indications for TEOSYAL® RHA 4

TEOSYAL® RHA 4 is designed to correct deep wrinkles and restore facial volume. Its aesthetic applications include:

Contraindications and Precautions

TEOSYAL® RHA 4 should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics.

Treatment should be avoided in cases of active skin infections, autoimmune diseases, severe allergies, bleeding disorders, epilepsy, porphyria or a tendency to develop keloid scars. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding and in individuals under 18 years of age is contraindicated.

A medical assessment is required before treatment. The product must not be injected into blood vessels or used in the lips, nose or peri-orbital area. Administration should be restricted to appropriately trained healthcare professionals.

Potential Side Effects

Temporary reactions may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, itching, pain and small lumps around the injection site.

Less common complications include infection, persistent inflammation, nodules, granulomas and hypersensitivity reactions.

Rare but serious complications include vascular occlusion, tissue necrosis and visual disturbances. Severe pain, unusual skin colour changes or vision problems require immediate medical attention.
