Revofil® Aquashine Ptx (BTX)

General Information

REVOFIL® Aquashine PTX, formerly known as Aquashine BTX, is an injectable skin-rejuvenation product manufactured by Caregen Co., Ltd., South Korea. It is formulated to improve skin hydration, elasticity and texture while helping reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and signs of ageing.

The formulation contains 15 mg/ml of non-cross-linked sodium hyaluronate (1.5%), combined with a complex of seven biomimetic peptides.

The peptide complex includes:

• Decapeptide-29 (CG-Noverin)
• Oligopeptide-62 (CG-Liftin)
• Oligopeptide-34 (CG-TGP2)
• Oligopeptide-51 (CG-Purilux)
• Acetyl Decapeptide-3 (CG-Rejuline)
• Oligopeptide-24 (CG-EDP3)
• Oligopeptide-72 (CG-Boostrin)

Hyaluronic acid helps maintain skin hydration, while the peptide complex is designed to support skin revitalization and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Despite its former BTX name, Aquashine PTX does not contain botulinum toxin.

The product is supplied as a sterile gel in a 2ml pre-filled syringe. It is intended for professional use and single application.

Indications

REVOFIL Aquashine PTX is designed for professional aesthetic skin-rejuvenation treatments, including:

Contraindications and Precautions

The product should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, peptides or any other product component. Treatment should be avoided in areas with active skin infections, inflammation or irritation.

Pregnant or breastfeeding patients and individuals under 18 years of age should not receive treatment. Patients with autoimmune conditions, bleeding disorders or significant medical conditions should receive an appropriate medical assessment before treatment.

REVOFIL Aquashine PTX must only be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals according to the manufacturer’s current Instructions for Use. It is intended for single use and must not be reused or re-sterilized.

Potential Side Effects

Temporary side effects may include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, itching, mild pain and small bumps around the injection site.

Less common reactions may include prolonged inflammation, infection, hypersensitivity reactions and persistent skin irregularities.

Rare but serious complications associated with injectable treatments include vascular occlusion and tissue damage. Unusual pain, skin blanching or vision changes require immediate medical attention.
