Revanesse® Ultra Lidocaine

General Information

Revanesse® Ultra+ Lidocaine is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler manufactured by Prollenium Medical Technologies Inc., Canada. It is formulated to help correct moderate to deep facial wrinkles and folds while restoring lost volume and improving facial contours.

The product contains 25 mg/ml of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and 0.3% lidocaine (3 mg/ml) in a phosphate-buffered saline solution. The hyaluronic acid gel helps restore volume and smooth facial lines, while lidocaine helps reduce discomfort during injection.

Revanesse Ultra+ Lidocaine is supplied in a pack containing 2 x 1.2ml pre-filled syringes and up to 2 sterilized 27G needles, according to the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Indications

Revanesse Ultra+ Lidocaine is intended for professional aesthetic treatments, including:

• Correction of moderate to deep facial wrinkles and folds.
• Smoothing of nasolabial folds.
• Improvement of marionette lines and facial creases.
• Restoration of volume lost through facial ageing or lipoatrophy.
• Improvement of selected facial contour irregularities.

Contraindications and Precautions

The product should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or other product components, or a history of hypertrophic scarring. It is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding patients or individuals under 18 years of age.

Treatment should be avoided in areas with active skin infection, inflammation or certain skin conditions. It should not be injected into the eye area, blood vessels, or areas containing permanent fillers or implants. Use requires particular care in patients with bleeding disorders, anticoagulant therapy or relevant medical conditions.

Revanesse Ultra+ Lidocaine is for intradermal use only and must be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals.

Potential Side Effects

Possible side effects include temporary redness, swelling, pain, itching, tenderness, bruising and discoloration at the injection site. Firmness, nodules or delayed inflammatory reactions may also occur.

Rare but serious complications include vascular occlusion, skin necrosis, visual impairment and other tissue damage. Unusual pain, skin blanching or vision changes during or after treatment require immediate medical attention.
