General Information

TEOSYAL® PURESENSE KISS is a sterile, injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler manufactured by TEOXANE Laboratories in Switzerland. It is specially formulated for lip enhancement and the correction of wrinkles and folds around the mouth. Its cohesive gel consistency is designed to provide natural-looking lip volume, definition and contour.

The formulation contains 25 mg/mL of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and 3 mg/mL of lidocaine hydrochloride (0.3%) in a phosphate buffer solution. Hyaluronic acid helps restore volume, improve lip definition and fill skin depressions. Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic included to help reduce discomfort during the injection procedure.

The product is designed to accommodate the natural movement of the lips while supporting lip fullness and perioral wrinkle correction.

Indications for TEOSYAL® PURESENSE KISS

TEOSYAL® PURESENSE KISS is intended for lip enhancement and treatment of the perioral region. Its aesthetic applications include:

Contraindications and Precautions

TEOSYAL® PURESENSE KISS should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or any other component of the formulation. It should not be injected into areas affected by active skin infections, inflammation or other untreated skin conditions.

Treatment requires careful medical assessment in individuals with a history of severe allergies, autoimmune conditions, bleeding disorders or relevant medical conditions. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and use in individuals under 18 years of age should be avoided in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

The product must not be injected into blood vessels. It should only be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals.

Potential Side Effects

Temporary reactions may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, pain, itching and firmness at the injection site. Small lumps, nodules or temporary changes in skin colour may also occur.

Rare but serious complications include infection, vascular occlusion, tissue damage, skin necrosis and visual disturbances, including blindness. Lidocaine may also cause allergic or other adverse reactions in susceptible individuals. Severe pain, unusual skin colour changes or vision problems following treatment require immediate medical attention.
